I have so many pictures to put on my blog, and these are a bit out of order, but Craig has requested pictures and I am an obedient little sister. Tuesday (Nov.10) my parents came to Utah. That night we went to Becky and Isoa's house to meet up with Tyler and have dinner. Thank you to Becky and Isoa for hosting such a wonderful and delicious party! I am sad I didn't have my camera and therefore didn't capture the moment. The next morning (Nov.11) Becky dropped Tyler off at our house so we could take Tyler to the MTC. We had Tyler stand by the flag so we could remember it was Veterans Day.

Nervous? Excited? Not quite sure Tyler.

Tyler was awfully excited about stealing his mom's pink Ipod.

I love you Tyler...

Grandma, Elder Morrison, and Grandpa.

Elder Tyler John Morrison - November 11, 2009

It is strange to think that I used to babysit this little guy...

Elder Morrison, KaeLynn, Eliza, and Abigail.

Elder Morrison and his luggage.

Eliza begged me to take a picture of her in the tree.

During our photo shoot, we lost track of time and missed Eliza's bus for school. I had to take Eliza to school on our way to the MTC, so while I was there I begged Tyler to run in the school quickly and take a picture with Brooklyn and Zachary. It was so much fun. As Tyler and I walked down the halls of the school all the kids kept pointing and saying "hey! look! it's a missionary!"

Zachary, I want you to always look at this picture and
remember that this will be you someday. Earls and Morrisons go on missions. That's what we do.

Because of H1N1 (Swine Flu) the MTC does not allow people to go inside. Instead, there are several drop off points outside of the MTC and you literally park, get out the luggage, and send these sweet Elders on their way. It's like the McDonalds' drive through, MTC style. It was wonderful actually. I told my mom it was like ripping off a Bandaid, you just have to do it quickly and get it over with.

This picture makes me cry every time I look at it. The MTC is
miserable joy. It is hard to see them leave, yet at the same time, you can't think of anywhere else you would rather them be.

Best of Luck Elder Morrison. We will miss you, but we are so proud of you for making amazing choices in your life that bring you to this point. Just know that a few states over from California, in Orem, Utah - the Earl family will be praying for you. Jason, KaeLynn, Brooklyn, Zachary, Eliza and Abigial will be praying for you in the morning, breakfast, lunch, dinner, family prayer, and personal prayer...that makes it about 36 times a day. Thank you for being such a good example for our children.

As if that day wasn't big enough...we had another family adventure. Mackenzie came to Provo and surprised his girlfriend with a ring! Mackenzie Craig Morrison proposed to Julie Hansen on November 11, 2009. The best part? She said YES! Julie had no idea that Mackenzie was coming. And when she opened the door to her apartment she saw this...

Congratulations Mackenzie and Julie!
